K.E. Gnanavel Raja Laments Over ‘Komban’, Twist In Censor

Many of the media channels before couple of days, there was a breaking news that Komban has been certified with ‘U’ and in a short span of time some of the leading political parties had extended up an unwanted issues. They claimed that Komban has depicted a certain caste group in a wrong manner. With all such issues happening relentlessly, the censor board film certification members have now revised the film and passed ‘U/A’ certificate. The film is directed by Kuttipuli fame Muthaiah and is produced by K.E. Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green Films with Karthi, Raj Kiran and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles

 Producer K.E. Gnanavel Raja has now written a personal letter to all media channels claiming that they are completely broken and disappointed over the unwanted issues that have been created for no purpose. The film will be hitting screens as announced, but we have spent Crores of rupees over making this project to entertain people and the result is to get broken down. “We have not hurt anyone’s sentiments or any particular caste. Komban is about emotional tug of war between a daughter’s father and son-in-law,” sums up K.E. Gnanavel Raja.
